Trick or Treat

After a very late start, we headed for Berwick on Tweed.

Although I like visiting Berwick, the girls were a little underwhelmed with it today. Not enough shops!

After lunch, we headed over to Alnwick. We should have done the day in reverse, as Alnwick would have been a better place for them. We had a hour there before darkness fell.

When we returned to the cottage, the girls dressed up for Halloween, and after we had a visit from some 'trick or treaters', they went out with Frank to do the same.
