Wide awake

Omar isn't quite in the hibernation zone, yet. Last time, she slept from 22 October to 20 April. It's now 1 November, but it's quite warm, so I can understand why she's confused. She must have some stamina to be awake and yet not eat.

I bought something for the first time today - an iron! The lady behind the counter was impressed that I'd owned my previous iron (given to me when I was a student) for 20 years. Her colleague asked what brand it had been. I then confessed that even though the iron was 20 years old, it hadn't seen active duty. Possibly this new iron will last another 20 years. It has lots of buttons the other iron didn't. I expect this one to make my coffee in the morning.
