Lifeguard not on duty

The south swimming beach at Cedar Lake...what a difference from this afternoon.

So quiet...just crickets, frogs, the occasional honking geese overhead and us. Mr. F came along because he's a honey and worried about me in the dark by myself.

The moon came up enormous and yellow just as we were driving home, even more directly over the city than last night, practically sitting on top of the tallest skyscraper but I just can't do two consecutive moon/skyline shots.
