Shapwick

A trip to the Somerset levels at Shapwick Heath to watch the starlings roost. We took friends so were keen for it to be successful, sadly the weather was very windy and cloudy, so although the birds were seen they were swooping in very low and not doing the wonderful swirls I had hoped for.......there is always another day. We enjoyed some very fresh air then rushed back for dinner and a presentation on Zimbabwean wild life. (that spelling looks wrong)
