Sunshine and roses.

The last of my Alexanda and Grace roses. They are pretty battered after the stormy weather we have experienced in the last few days but I decided to bring in the ones that weren't blown and enjoy a few days of them indoors.

Putting them in a vase on the kitchen worktop, the sun suddenly illuminated them from behind.
