Pues eso, 8 kilometros es la distancia en línea recta desde mi casa hasta el Palacio de Festivales de Santander (al menos es lo que dice el Google Earth). El palacio es el edificio verde y blanco que se ve en el centro de la foto.
En primer plano, podeis ver un barco en el dique seco de el astillero.
En segundo plano, todos esos arboles y los edificios de la derecha son el puerto deportivo de Santander. Ahí también está el Aeropuerto de Santander.
Y de fondo se ve parte del skyline de Santander.

So, 8 kilometers is the distance as the crow flies from my house to the Santander´s Festivals Palace (at least so says Google Earth). The palace is the green and white building you see in the center of the photo.
In the foreground you can see a ship in dry dock at the shipyard.
Behind, all those trees and buildings on the right are the Marina of Santander. There is also Santander Airport.
And the background is part of the skyline of Santander.
