Container crane

A sort of usual Saturday, with the music session in Swords (a good one) followed by a trip through the Port Tunnel across to the far side of the city afterwards. I was running a bit earlier than usual, so doubled back on myself when I came through the East Link toll to fit in a quick bit of blipping and get something in the camera. Most of the container area is over on the far side of the port, but this crane thing rather dominates the narrow strip which leads down to the Pigeon House Marina. It actually looked quite attractive under the late evening light.

In Carl's place we chatted, had a few glasses of wine, ordered in some food, did a bit of catching by watching the first two episodes of the third series of Homeland, and retired to Carl's Kino to watch Robot & Frank, a gentle and relaxing film which suited the moment.
