For forty years this site reverberated to the sounds of fun and laughter from thousands of holiday makers at Pontin's Blackpool holiday camp.

It closed in 2009 and now has outline planning permission for 350 new homes.

Even before the site has been cleared there have been complaints about noise from the adjacent airport.
