I've always been a firm advocate of reflective clothing.

If I could introduce one law it would be for every item of outdoor clothing to have a reflective part to it.

At Freckleton half marathon our mementoes have included an umbrella with reflective strip on it? How many reflective umbrellas have you seen?

So when I saw these gloves I bought them.

The problem is I'm never sure if my reflective gear is actually reflective.

So tonight after my run I photographed my gloves with the flash just to check....

As I drove home I saw a reflective jacket over a hundred metres away but I could barely make out the person 10 metres away without reflective strip.
