London to Brighton Veteran Car Run

The 1st Sunday in November is the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. It comes past the end of our road so whenever we can Clare and I get up early to watch it.

The first cars come through Streatham at around 7.30 am and the last are through around 9 am by when we're ready for for coffee and bacon sandwiches.

The weather today was cold but clear. So much better than last year when it rained harder than I've ever known it. This is one of the earlier entries. A steam powered car from 1896.
