Sussex pond pudding

This is a Mary Berry recipe that looked great on the Bake Off so I thought as it's my day off why not?
It turned out with a great treacly sauce and a nice hint of lemon, though the whole lemon in the centre was not quite cooked well enough.
Overall, good for a winters day.
Also today a lamb tikka masala and fresh paratha.
Rob made individual pork pies.
