"LIKE A ROSE, UNDER AN AGELESS SKY, I WAS ALWAYS "

Evergreen - one of my favourite songs and I love to sing it. Like this rose called Compassion. It is beautiful but also has a superb fragrance. That was the best thing about today. The weather has been dreadful. The rain came out of the sky like hailstones. It was markedly colder but the sun made a brief appearance so I shot outside in between the rain to capture this superb flower. If you look closely you can still see the rain drops. As DavetheRave said recently, could this be the last rose?!!

We have worked hard all day clearing out an old cabinet that housed all our DVD's and CD's and replaced it with a better cabinet that I purchased yesterday. There's nothing like a clear out and you find things you haven't seen for years. And some dead spiders and dust. Of course Phoebe and Jazz were on hand to help.

So once again Monday is looming, made even worse this time because I will be returning Matthew back to Longrun House in Taunton. I know he has to go back but its still hard saying "goodbye".

I hope you have all enjoyed a good weekend spent with loved ones and family. Christmas isn't far away and the whole world will get caught up with the commercialism of it all. But remember, it doesn't matter whether you have made the cake/mince pies/ posted the Christmas cards or bought your favourite Aunty her special lavender soap. It doesn't matter a jot, but if you have forgotten to tell your wife/husband/partner how special they are to you - then shame on you. THAT'S MORE IMPORTANT. Love one another with a passion for living!!! Don't wait until tomorrow to say special words for tomorrow may be too late.
