Bonfire night celebrations

We visited Weston Park tonight for the bonfire and fireworks. Enjoyable evening with friends, but I'm clearly getting too old to enjoy funfairs - so much noise and so many crowds, and it's all far too expensive. Also very unlikely that I'd go on any rides at a funfair nowadays whereas I used to love being flung around on them.
