Better than medicine

Spent my first day of annual leave nursing a poorly boyfriend. I supplied him with drinks and drugs throughout the day whilst he rested in bed. I went to the local supermarket to get him Lucozade, bread and pâté. Each of these he appreciated, but it was the lure of a roast dinner that lifted his migraine and gave him the ability to get dressed and venture downstairs. Fingers crossed he stays well for the rest of the week.
