Silver stone Fireworks

We chicken out of our local claustrophobia firework display each year as you queue for hours to pack into a tight squeeze. Obviously it's dark, kinda the point but I panic a kiddy will wander off and get swept away in the crowds. So lucky to have a free display but we usually opt to pay and go to a smaller event at Bletchley Park where the fireworks play out to Land of Hope and Glory. It was cancelled this year sadly, I'm told its something to do with Keira knightly filming there, so I'll have to keep an eye out for Bletchley Park appearing as the back drop on one of her films soon.

Anyway, this year we found out about a free one on the Silverstone race circuit as part of the season close for some racing championship. (I was told, I didn't listen well enough). They were fab! A massive exciting & warm bonfire and a great display. PLUS, traffic was so good getting back we were home just as the local ones were about to start, in time for the rain ;-)
