A man and his dog

I went out this afternoon looking for a blip. I thought I should get some of the magnificent rhododendrons in the park, but alas they are past their best.
I hadn't had the courage to ask a stranger for their photo yet, but couldn't resist this gentleman. Some people are just so photogenic. He was persuaded when I agreed to take his dog too. It's his first pet and he only got her from the pound last week. They are obviously besotted with each other - it's lovely.
