a bit of a boat

Yesterday wasn't the best of days but I did get a bit of good news after posting my blip (more later). So with all weather forecasts predicting sun I headed to Morecambe with my bike in the car.

The tide was in and the sea was so so blue. I paid my 80p for 4 hours parking.. It would have cost £7.50 in the Lakes so the saving paid for my fuel.

I wobbled  cycled along the prom with many photo stops. The boats that are kept at the top of the main slipway usually look wishy washy but he light today transformed the colours. I chose this one to blip because it looks like the handle of a corkscrew. 

Just for a laugh I rode down one slipway and onto the sand. I only got about 15 metres when the bike ground to a halt. Wrong tyres perhaps.

Back to the wine. A case from Waitrose should be speeding up the M6 courtesy of my eldest from whom I got an email within hours of posting the blip yesterday.  Only downside is that I have to give 6 bottles to his sister.
