A lady of observation

Darkness falls

I caught the last of the dying daylight to take this.
The nights are drawing in fast since the clocks went back. I have lapsed on blips and blogging. Sorry about that. So what has happened in the last 5 days? We successfully escaped Halloween. A lovely cosy evening with no unexpected disturbances once we had got home from work and a busy weekend followed. Weekends go far too quick.
We took a trip up to our local branch of Woodgreen animal shelter, not for another addition to our furry family I might add, but to donate some bits and pieces surplus to requirement. They have a lovely little thrift shop there for fundraising purposes.
We had to take the scenic route as our normal journey was called to a halt due to a road closure caused by an illegal rave. We could see lots of young people waiting for lifts home after their impromptu party had been stopped. This meant mister trying to navigate from memory to get to our destination. It was a lovely sunny afternoon with a slight nip to the air. It made a difference to go for a Sunday drive not needing to rush, but enjoying the view of the Autumn countryside scene.
