Shepherds Warning??!!

Getting up early for work again, means that I get to see the occasional lovely sunset and today happened to be one of them. I was always told as a child; red sky in the morning, shepherds warning!!! Meaning we would be in for a bad day weatherwise. But that was not to be the case today, it was a beautiful Autumnal crisp day, which sadly I only got to see up until 09.30 when I went into work. We have no windows in work you see!!!
Today turned out to be a lovely day in work, not too busy a day and some lovely work colleagues on shift too. We have had a couple of new staff nurses starting over the past couple of months and they are really lovely and very "normal"!!! Not like some we have had in past years. Also an old friend of mine who I worked with for many years up until 2000 came to do a bank shift with us, which was a lovely surprise. It was so good catching up with each other and sharing photos of our now grown up children. We were both pregnant at the same time with our first children back in 1995. Where have the years gone?!! It makes such a difference when you work with lovely people who are competent and supportive of each other.
