Mum

This is one of my favourite pictures of my mum (left) and my aunt. We lost my mum 6 years ago today and my aunt a year and a half later, both to a genetic cancer.

My lovely mum played such a massive part in our lives that she left an enormous, unfillable hole behind when she died but at least there is consolation to be had in the knowledge that wherever she is right now, she is reunited with her twin sister.
