Birthday Cheesecake

Happy Birthday Big Bloke!

What better way to tell someone you love them than by baking them a great big cheesecake? Brownie points and a slice for myself! This is Nigella's chocolate and peanut butter cheesecake, very nice but I'm not sure I could identify the main ingredients if I didn't know what they were.

The day began in fine style with a full english at Alexanders in Lincoln and then some clothes shopping for the birthday boy. My afternoon was spent happily pottering in the kitchen and we dined in fine style this evening on prawn cocktail, cheesy mustard chicken, cheesecake and birthday cake. I suspect I have eaten as many calories today as I usually do in a week. Well worth it.
