McAbee road barn

It may be a photography cliché, but I always end up taking a few photos of this old barn when I walk past it. It sits at the end of McAbee road, at the edge of Almaden Quicksilver county park. It's somewhat out of place among the tract housing - a nice reminder of Silicon Valley's agricultural past.

Today's walk took me into Quicksilver park and through the wooded areas on New Almaden & Webb Canyon trails. Round trip from home & back was just under 7 miles; more than I had planned to walk today but the weather was perfect so I kept going.
