Family love

This picture is the highlight of my day.

Marley showing Harper how to demolish a Lego tower with his crane and Harper watched him so intently, fascinated by his big brother.

Unfortunately the rest of my day wasn't so great...

Went to the doctors to get Harpers rash checked out - turns out he has eczema and will test him before he starts solids for allergies. While there I got a phone call from Kanyes principal, he'd had a seizure and fallen on his face, they said he was extremely distressed and was bleeding from his mouth and nose, they were taking him to A & E. So I rushed off and got there at the same time they did, he was not in a good way. His head had a golf ball sized lump, his face was grazed and he was covered in blood.

The doctor checked him over and luckily no broken nose or teeth, they observed him for a while and spoke to the neurologist who decided to up his medication until I see him again. They let us go home so he could rest.

Also lucky for us we have a new wheelchair type pram so we can harness him in it and recline it so he can rest and know that he is safe if he has any more seizures.

On days like this I'm certainly glad to have a lot of great family support, my father in law came in to see Kanye, then headed off and came back later with boxers protective head gear, he had walked in the middle of the day in the heat to the sports shop to get it for him. Boxers head gear has padding all around the cheeks and chin and comes down the forehead more than his other head gear.

I was out with my mum at the time this happened so she came with me and when I had to go get Marley from school this afternoon, she cleaned the house for me.

So I'm grateful for family love in all ways

Kanye is a lot better now, he's really exhausted and will no doubt have a sore face and head for a few days and definitely a significant bruise
