The sky outside is lit up with colorful sparks, the booming of the fireworks hasn't disturbed our pets at all they're inside with blankets over the cage and hutch. The boys are sound asleep except for Marley who is frightened of them and is now in our bed.

I always forget how loud fireworks are even the smallest ones.

Tonight after dinner and pj's we decided to do sparklers with the boys. It was light out but I wasnt about to keep them up until it gets dark just to see the sparklers better. They really enjoyed them and once finished they sat inside watching Andre let off a couple more bigger fireworks.

I'm not too keen on the bigger fireworks.

Poor Harper was his first real time seeing fireworks and he was not having a bar of it. He was so upset!

The rain was so torrential this afternoon that I decided to get the boys early from school, Kanye first, who had not long got back from a powhiri and sausage sizzle then attended the schools hangi. This boy was well fed, he actually skipped dinner tonight.

I then got Marley who during the wet lunch time watched Pluto the dog.

When we got home we watched bee movie which the boys have seen but still love.
