High dose methotrexate

Here in hospital for the first time for "high-dose methotrexate" - a treatment so toxic Alex needs to be hyper-hydrated and monitored constantly until it has left his system. We're in the wrong ward (normal one being full - I expect it's the time of year with lots of infections etc) but will go there tomorrow for the treatment itself. It's weird being on a different ward with almost identical rooms!
