The Mermaid Inn
Well that's what it used to be - a 17th century coaching inn - but is now self-catering accomodation for large groups.
I spent most of the day with my dad, trying to sort out Power of Attorney forms?? We've been backwards and forwards to his GPs and still haven't got anywhere - no one seemed to know what to do, so I'm waiting for a call from the practice manager.
Anyway, in the middle of all this we went for lunch at Tittesworth Reservoir. The views from there, include this ridge and The Roaches - a well-known crag of rocks used by climbers, in The Peak District.
It was a really dark and blustery day.
