WHY do we have to get back in the car?

The dogs couldn't understand why their walk today was cut short. I could understand

1. it was pouring with rain
2. a gale was blowing
3. I was frozen
4. I had forgotten my waterproof trousers
5. Bud was limping with a poorly front right paw.

So we curtailed our walk.

Sardines for tea though, that cheered everyone up!
