Tiger Tea Party

We had a tea party today for "The Tiger Who Came to Tea" book. I made a sock puppet that kind of looks like a tiger if you squint and knocked on the dining room door. The kids let 'tiger' in (after some pleading) to join the tea party. Chickpea cried when the tiger pretended to eat all of the buns and drink all of the tea. Perhaps I make a very realistic tiger or she was just practicing her acting skills. I'm not sure but she was fine in the end I think. Then she wanted to be the tiger...

Monkey enjoyed the tea party as well, which for him involved pouring 'tea' (water) from the teapot into all of the cups (but mainly on the table) and eating a bite from each bun.
