The Palamore Pool, River Findhorn

More autumn colours this time on the Findhorn which I think is my favourite Scottish river. I have walked and kayaked most of it at one time or another although I have yet to walk to its true source in the Monadhliath hills. I wish I could say I had fished it as well as it must be a truly magnificent and challenging river. This pool is in the lower reaches where the river has run the major rapids and falls and makes its more tranquil way through steep wooded cliffs.
