Sheep in the sun

Didn't get a lot of sun - in fact the day for us started at the edge of Ullswater in the pouring rain - only then did I realise that I'd left my waterproof jacket hanging back at the house - still, gave me a chance to check the waterproof capabilities of a fleece (not that good!)

At lunchtime, the weather looked to be brightening up, so we drove round the top end of Ullswater and dropped down to Howtown and Martindale. Just before the sun disappeared for the rest of the day, I caught this band of light rimming the edge of the hill just picking up the sunbathing sheep.
