Lichen

Still clearing debris from the winds of recent weeks and this lichen covered twig appeared. It's an intriguing complicated organism which invites close scrutiny.
We were due to visit friends in Marlow beside the Thames today but they called it off through sickness. I was looking forward to some beautiful river views to blip but they will have to wait for another day.
