we will not be moved

The Pev’ pub sits alone and isolated on a triangular piece of land, surrounded by modern high rise and redeveloped buildings. It was built in 1829 and is a Grade 2 listed building which has protected it from developers. I am sure that in its day it was ordinary but now it looks amazing just because it is so different in the new look Manchester. Apparently it opens at 12 on a Saturday if Man Utd are at home. The washing hanging outside just reminds me of that old footy song “we will not be moved”
