A busy day following a busy week.

Started with getting to Dr really early to miss those queues for a flu jab, successful. Took a few photos around the river in early mist (they nearly made the blip)

Then golf, we have started Winter League games, now played 2 lost 2, unsuccessful.

Youngest son and his girlfriend, last night booked there ticket to Oz on 27 Jan. He hopes to play a season of semi pro football out there. Today he plays in Midland Alliance and manager changes his position from Centre Half to Centre Mid because they are not creating enough chances. They win 9-2, successful

As the weather was lovely and clear but cold, we decided on a quick walk at Carsington Reservoir, there were loads of birds today and as I have never managed a decent shot of a lapwing, he got the vote over the misty river
