Vienna

Stupid o' clock flight to Vienna this morning, followed by the CAT train and S-Bahn to the hotel, then walked to the British Embassy to do what I had to do there. Nice to put faces to names of people I work with, albeit remotely, from Warsaw. Met a few other people and then took myself off to Stephansplatz in the evening to catch the last couple of hours of daylight and to see something other than airport/train station/hotel and work! St. Stephan's Cathedral was unfortunately under renovation and had the usual silhouette tarpaulin/mesh thing covering part of it. However, quite a stunning and rather huge cathedral that makes you go 'wow' as you ascend the escalators from the U-bahn.

Fancied a pizza and so dined al-fresco with some nice wine, that wasn't sold by the glass before going back for a shot of the Cathedral at night.
