Trying to start Christmas shopping...

Where can you find Sydney Opera House, a Treant and the Black Tower, an Ewock settlement, an old fashioned cinema and a high speed train..?

Did you guess? - The Lego shop!

After Alex arrived home from school, I took him to Bluewater to try to start some present shopping as well as to buy him jeans.
He has been growing and has 'ankle swingers' again... It is really hard to get jeans for his age group - the kids vary in size and shape so much. Those shops that do sell teenage clothes ranges often have them long enough but way too big in the waist (being a slight build like his older brothers at this age). Found some eventually... in UNIGLO. Good fit and some growing room still. It was their top size in kids sizes though so I don't know where I'll try next... I'd better keep trying to fatten him up!

I bought two things towards the Christmas presents stack then felt overwhelmed by the excess of things there is on offer and gave up trying to make any decisions!

We always pop into the Lego shop for a look around too...
