The wall you see above is a make shift one that surrounds some dilapidated old buildings in Coburg. However the walls have been there for quite a while and are looking pretty dilapidated themselves. The final level of dilapidation comes from the years of posters that have been posted on them, continually covered by more posters and then somehow torn apart. That is what your looking at in todays blip. It’s interesting looking at all the posters because in areas where they have been torn you can see some posters advertising events for years back. It’s like looking through time.
Holly and I also saw gravity today, I thought it was quite good and it was very thrilling. Things in the movie just seem to keep getting worse, and they start off pretty bad! Amazing cinematography though, not just in the depiction of space but also for putting you in the shoes of the characters. There were times were I felt truly anxious and wanted to reach out and grab something to stop me spinning through space. Like I said I quite enjoyed it and think I’ll look up the screen writers/directors to see what else they’ve done.
Now to keep the Sandra Bullock train running we’re going to watch the blind side!
