Through the round window

The local Art Club had an exhibition in the Methodist Church here yesterday and today. I went to have a look this afternoon and saw lots of lovely exhibits in all sorts of media done by some very talented people, some of whom are friends, and we all spread the word about next weekend's event!!

In 1984 The second Wesleyan Methodist chapel was destroyed in a storm. The building had to be replaced and the huge tree which lifted the roof off was taken away by a local Tree Surgeon. We purchased some of that tree and had it machined into planks by the local timber yard out of which my Partner at that time (Chris Mk 1!!) made 1 double bed , 2 wardrobes and 2 chests of drawers.
