Christening of our Chinese chopsticks

Today we organised a Chinese lunch party to christen the chopsticks sent by one of our previous visitors now back in China.
I would have liked to have photographed them using the chopsticks but I knew it would be a “no-no”.

Fair enough. I remember being quite disconcerted when a guest one Christmas photographed our Christmas dinner- the first I knew was when it appeared on Facebook. ( it's an age thing....young people have no inhiitions about appearing on the internet).

Anyway, one of our visitors today brought us this gift, a hand-painted bowl, back from her recent visit to Vietnam.

We tried to remember everything our Chinese visitors had taught us because they had cooked us some fantastic meals including a typical Chinese banquet.
