White-faced Heron(Egretta (Ardea) novaehollandiae)

Spied this fellow on my morning walk along the Bay and thought he was more interesting than more boats and water shots. There is a swampy area at low tide beside the walkway and there were a few birds poking about including a Spoonbill scooping up lots of goodies with his perfectly shaped bill. It's been rather stormy looking all day but so far no rain unfortunately, everything is so dry. The frogs have just started to croak though so that is always a good sign of rain to come.
