Spring Sunday

I love this park at this time of year, it's like a private little park within a bigger one that has playground, a community Hall and swimming pool. My husband and I got married 4 years ago next month in this park, it's simply stunning and it's just around the corner from where we live.

It was such a beautiful hot day today almost a bit too hot, especially for my boys, it's a little unfair in a way, all winter they are inside because it's cold or raining then spring/summer rolls around and I forget how hot it can get with a nor wester attached to a hot day and so from 11ish until around 2-3 I make them stay either inside or under shelter, even with sunscreen and a hat I still don't like them being out in that midday heat.

We had such a relaxing day, we watched TV, had lunch went to the park then my mother and sister in law came over for a visit, unfortunately Harper was not a happy baby he knew it wasn't mama and cried and screamed until he came back to me.

I'm still a bit sore from falling yesterday and woke up today with a painful upper back from carrying Harper around in front pack for hours yesterday.

We told Marley today that not long and Santa will be coming and if he's a good boy Santa will bring him a new bike, I've told him there's an elf in the house who is watching and tells Santa each day if he's been a nice and helpful boy hopefully it will last until Christmas!!
