Mt Rushmore ....

......... when in South Dakota you just HAVE to go to Mt Rushmore .... what I forgot was that it was Independence Day week - the queue to get into the park was over 5 miles long!!!! And the guy on the gate was most apologetic that he could not let me jump the queue even though I was on a motorcycle .... ah well, I had to be content with a shot from the road!
Extremely impressive though .... and on I rode to Valentine, Nebraska for the night ....
