Otter Sighting!

It was The Man's birthday today and Daniel was in nursery. Now there's nothing better I would like for my birthday than wandering by a river in an area renowned for its otters.

I was so pleased it was The Daughter's idea and not mine, that her dad might like to do that on his birthday. We could even treat him to lunch out!

So that's what we did, at the Chestnut Centre!

Not only was the man rewarded by sightings of several otters, he got his lunch out and a lovely celebratory meal made for him in the evening by The Son-in-Law!

What did Emily do through all this? She couldn't have cared less!
