Sunset in the Kaituna Valley

This is one of the loveliest parts of New Zealand that I've stayed in. The scenery, the tranquillity and the bird life are all outstanding. Staying with Horomaka and Mrs H has been a real joy. I set off for home this afternoon, got caught up in the aftermath of a nasty motorbike and car smash at the corner of the main road at the bottom of the valley, and ended up coming back up the valley with Horomaka and staying another night! Thanks again to you two! I know you said that I could come back any time but none of us could have anticipated it would have been as soon as this.
