We Will Remember Them

We have been meaning to visit the nearby National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas, near Lichfield; today seemed an appropriate day to go.

We went mid afternoon and the blue sky was so welcome over what is a special and magnificent place. The photo is of a statue and part of the central memorial where all service men who have lost their lives are named on curved walls. Unfortunately there is plenty of space on the walls that will probably be needed in the future.

It was a very moving experience
