Remember

Lovely Remembrance Service at church this morning. Even the girls were moved.

We headed into Princes Street in the beautiful (cold!) sunshine to see the Field of Remembrance that had been set up next to the Scott monument. 11,000 tiny crosses (also Star of David's, Crescents and for the humanists 'sticks') that had been planted in memory of loved ones lost.

We added our own for my Uncle George - who was 19 when he lost his life.

Afterwards, an essential trip to the shops on Princes Street to find a coat for No 2 that fits over her cast ! (Failed miserably. It's hard enough to agree a suitable school coat with a 14 year old....let alone one with flexible sleeves !)

I back blipped yesterday's hospital news if you care to stop by. xxx
