'Foggy Morning'

A cold morning when I left for work this morning. Only five minutes from home, while passing through Diamond Creek, I spotted this little valley of fog, just as the sun was starting to peek over the hill behind it. The sunlight hitting the fog looked incredible.

I had to stop the car and jump out to grab a few shots. Wish I had have had the Canon 50D with me, but all I had was my point & shoot which seems to have done a pretty good job when set to manual controls.

Within a minute or two of the sun hitting this little foggy patch it had almost completely burnt off. Another shot where timing was everything. Makes my early morning starts all the more worthwhile.
