Armistice Day .......

.......... and I am thankful to see the dawn of a new day.


" At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month, in 1918, the guns on the Western Front finally fell silent after more than four years of brutal trench warfare and an armistice was declared.
Around thirteen million people died.

In the UK today the country will be asked to pause and respect two minutes silence in memory of those who served and died for their country "
