lunch with a view

Hiking today from Tabagan to Bytakovka (in the mountains just outside Almaty). It took about 45 mins to drive to the start point and we hiked for about 3 1/2 hours to the end point and the drivers picked us up from there (the end point was only about 15 mins from town.) It was hard going and I spent most of my time concentrating on putting one foot in front of the other and not sliding down the side of the mountain... needless to say I didn't take too many photos today! Maybe by this time next year I will have mastered the hiking and be able to take pictures at the same time...
