Bragg Brain Worm

This may look like a very random blip, but it sums up a terrible night's sleep!

Last night before I went to bed I glanced at the calendar; hmmm not long to go before Billy Bragg at the Symphony Hall me thought. I got ready for sleep and settled in nice and early (typical Sunday - you know the sort where you are ready for work the next day) About half an hour later I still wasn't asleep. Tickets? Had we had any tickets yet?

I pushed the thought out of my mind (or tried to) and settled back on the pillow. No - we haven't! I reached out for the light and picked up my Kindle - emails checked - no confirmation? OK I thought, must investigate in the morning - back to the job in hand - sleep!

No such luck. Racked brains - when did I buy them? Where from? I knew it wasn't the Symphony Hall. Light on, Kindle on (again) checked the date they went on sale - 22nd Feb. Still no nearer to solving the brain worm. Ok sleep (now past midnight - have been in bed 2 hours - no sleep yet)

Picked Kindle up again - checked possible online ticket companies - no names rang a bell. Logged into a few I'd previously used; no record? Looked at clock - 12.30 - now not only worrying about tickets (and being scammed) - now also worrying about oversleeping!

Finally at ten to one I got up and logged onto the laptop downstairs, checked online banking - found entry for 22nd February and company (Music Glue) Emailed Music Glue query.....back to bed. Now past 1am :(

Went back to bed...........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

As you would imagine - today I was a little bleary eyed in the morning (I'm not good without my obligatory 8 hours of shut eye) And loan behold - this morning a lovely email back from the company saying the tickets would be delivered nearer the time!

Bloody hell Mr Bragg - I hope you're worth it!

+ Actually - I know he will be - I've seen him 8 times already and this time I have front row seats!
