Tender Morning Light

So here we are, Remembrance Day - a day to remember all those who fought and died in war. Let us remember the greater number of civilian deaths. Let us remember the irreparable loss that war inevitably brings.

The Buddhist Book of Days offered up this quotation for today from the Dalai Lama and I offer it to you:

"I believe that to have world peace we must first have inner peace. Those who are naturally serene, at ease with themselves, will be open towards others. I think this is where the very foundation of universal peace lies."

May we never forget. And may we never again go to war. xx
